The Early Childhood Department is located in the lower level of the main building of TCA. Each room is equipped with loving and caring Assistants. In order to assure safety to the child and accessibility to each parent, we use a Digital Number System. Upon entrance to a room, each child (both regular attendee and guest) is assigned a number. This number is tagged on the child, as well as any diaper bag, sippy cup, et cetera, that is brought with such child. The parent/adult is given a coordinating key chain with their child’s number. If throughout the service a parent is needed, their child’s number is flashed on a digital board located on both sides of the stage in the main sanctuary. In addition, a child will not be released unless the coordinating name tag is retrieved. This insures the child is being released into the proper hands.

A scheduled chapel time is provided for Pre-School & Pre-Kindergarten during this time. The children are taken, by their Assistants, to Room H where they enjoy a time of song, offering, and a lesson in a group-like setting. This is scheduled approximately 10:45-11:15 a.m. The Assistants then return with the children to their respective classrooms.

We at TCA understand that the first few years of a child’s life is so important in the way that they view church and God! We want to make every visit to church count, make every visit special, and take every opportunity we can to share the love of Jesus with each child. We strive to provide a safe, fun and loving environment in our Wee Care Area. Our goal is for each child to be excited about coming to church. And, our goal is for each parent to feel confident in the care of his/her child so they can experience God in His fullness!
