P.A.R.K.
(Praising And Rejoicing
Kids) |
P.A.R.K. is a ministry consisting of 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
The
kids are encouraged to use their talents for the Lord. Through drama,
singing, expressive worship, clowning, puppets, mime, human videos, sign
language and many other varieties, this is accomplished. Throughout the
summer months, P.A.R.K. ministers at local VBS, day camps, Malls, park
ministries and anywhere the Lord leads.
The season culminates with a missions trip. During these trips, the
children are involved with churches, but the main focus is street
ministries, inner-city ministries, and the homeless.

The theme for 2006
was, "Something Amazing.". Based on scripture from the book of
Habakkuk. In verse 1:5, the Lord tells Habakkuk to set back
and be amazed at what He is about to do. God still wants us to
watch and see what He is about to do because He wants to do
something amazing in each one of our lives.
